Does anyone else use MagicJack?
It costs $39.95 and you get a year of service and if you want to add another year its $19.95 You can choose the area code for your number. You get unlimited calls to the US and Canada and of course calls from a MagicJack to a MagicJack user are free. It works well with jaws.
I just got it today and I like it. If you want my number you can ask me for it.

I was just thinking a month or so ago about getting a enternet phone but then my fiance and I got the MY Circle plan instead it works good so far.
A word of warning to magic jack users: I have been in contact with several individuals who didn't really use their magic jack particularely often, yet they were shut off for using too many outgoing minutes. Think about it. No service can truly be offered for such a cheap price, especially including an attachment to your phone, and still be reliable. What's more, internet phones, depending on your connection, can be quite unstable in general. I would recommend simply paying for a landline, even though it is more expensive. I have never tried magic jack myself but would certainly not want to use it as my main telephone line considering what I have heard from others.
i use skype and stuff, but would never consider using this as a main telephone. established mobile communications can be bad enough, and voip is not established enough for me to think about using it as a suscription service. yes I have skype credit, but that's on payg basis. i love my landlines! yay! hehe
